1. Registration Information:

2. Optional Self-Reported Information:

This may include health information, ethnicity, family history and other such information that you choose to share with us.
3. User content:

Genetic raw data information, other data files, testimonials, reviews, comments uploaded/posted to the Xcode Life website will constitute user content.
4. Blogs and Forums:

Xcode Life runs a publicly visible blog and discussion forums to improve customer experience and service. The information provided in such forums may be read and used by all those who have access to the forums. Discretion is advised before deciding to share personal information. If third party applications are used to post comments, it is recommended to review the privacy statement of those third parties.
5. Social Media Features:

Our website contains Social Media sharing buttons to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. This feature may collect information related to IP, page visits and may have incorporate the use of cookies to ensure that the features function properly.
6. Referral information:

Xcode has an active referral program to encourage user engagement. The email address of your referees will be used by Xcode Life for the purpose of sharing your request and let them know that the communication has been requested. Your participation in the referral program will be taken as a consent to Xcode Life to communicate the request to that person.

Personal information shared with Xcode while gifting or accepting Xcode products as gifts, personal information will only be used to communicate such information.
Information related to our genetic testing services
Xcode Life collects raw data files from customers for generating various health and lifestyle reports. The raw data files are generated by ancestry genetic testing companies other than Xcode Life. It contains the genetic information of the person typically in the form of quaternary figures A, T, G and C, their chromosome location and a standard alphanumeric identifier called the rsID.
Web Tracking information
1. Xcode Life uses cookies to help enhance user experience, provide security, collect demographic information and monitor marketing programs. By the continued use of the Xcode website, you authorise the site’s use of cookies. More information about cookies can be found in our Cookie Policy.
2. Information obtained by the use of cookies maybe used in third party analytics tools like Google Analytics to generate reports. Such reports will not contain any personal information. Marketing analysis using these reports will be based on aggregate information and not at the individual level.
3. Google Analytics.

Xcode Life uses the User-ID feature from Google Analytics to track user behavior across devices and sessions. This information is not merged with personal information. Xcode is actively invested in product development and introducing new applications and features. This may result in the collection of new information from different channels. How we use your information
By signing up for Xcode Life’s services by creating an account on the xcode.life website, the user consents to allow Xcode Life to communicate information to them. This information may be service or marketing related. Service-related communication involves emails regarding data uploads and report delivery or any other such communications that are required for Xcode Life to fulfill service requirements. The raw data or any other files present in the customer account can at any time be deleted by the customers themselves from their account dashboard without needing to inform or securing permission from Xcode Life.
Marketing communications includes but is not restricted to product upgrades, new product information and testimonial requests. The user may at any time choose to opt out of receiving such communications by clicking on unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.
You may request deletion of your Xcode Life account and personal information by sending an email request to hello@xcode.life Once you submit your request we will promptly delete your account and all contents within including raw data file, reports and personal information. Once you confirm your request to delete your data, your account will no longer be accessible. This process cannot be cancelled, undone, withdrawn, or reversed.
Information that is used to conduct research projects will only be used after obtaining informed consent from the participant. Xcode Life will solicit customer feedback to optimize their services. Similar to marketing campaigns, users can at anytime opt out of receiving such emails by unsubscribing or emailing a request to hello@xcode.life
Information shared with third parties
1. By signing up for the Xcode Life services you consent to the use of tools related to customer support, data storage and marketing. These tools are essential to be able to deliver customer support and for product requirements.
2. Access to data, be it registration information, genetic and self-reported information, automated information or data of any other kind will be shared with regulatory authorities if Xcode Life is bound to comply with the requirements of the law of the land.

According to the official GDPR website sensitive information constitutes: “personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs; trade-union membership; genetic data, biometric data processed solely to identify a human being; health-related data; data concerning a person’s sex life or sexual orientation”
User Content:

Raw data information, testimonials, reviews uploaded by customers to the Xcode Life website will constitute user content.
